Ezra
Wester Aikemas Ezra, "Ezra", was imported from Holland in 2007 by Jeanine Markham and is currently in foal to Sweet Rock Solid. Ezra was awarded premium status as a foal in Holland and was presented to the ISR/OLD N.A. Sport Pony Division where she attained a premium award. The comment from breeding director Christian Schacht was, "this is the finest pony I have ever seen." He had to check with the office to see what was the highest award he could give her! Congratulations Jeanine!
If Ezra has a colt in 2008 it will be offered for sale.
Fall 2007
VADA Fall-USDF/GAIG Region 1 Finals Despite heavy rains and sloppy, sloppy ring conditions Bailey and Sweet Rock Solid took 1st place on Saturday in First Level, Test 4 with a 70.5% and 2ND place, First Level, Test 2 with a 66%.
We were thrilled on Sunday when Sweet Rock Solid took fourth place in the GAIG Finals for First Level with a score of 68.6%. The class consisted of 21 horses. George Williams took first place on Vermeer with a score of 71% and Christopher Hickey second place on Forester with a 70%. Pretty good company!

At the Down East Dressage show Sweet Rock Solid and Bailey Cook did it again. Two wins in First Level, Test 2, 68.3% and Test 4, 72.8%! In Sweet Rock Solid's down time he enjoyed the beautiful show grounds and the great hand grazing under the old huge trees.

Dressage in the Sandhills. Sweet Rock Solid and Bailey Cook had a fabulous weekend with three wins in three classes at First Level, Test 1 with a 70%! In First Level, Test 2, 69.7% and 66.1%. He was also awarded the Cymbrogi Haven High Score Pony Award.

Sweet Rock Solid made his first show debut at the Raleigh Capital Dressage Classic. Scores at Training Level, Tests 2 &3 included 67.3%, 65.8% and 66.9%!
He won the High Score Pony Award!
Sweet Rock Solid was presented to and approved by the Oldenburg Verband-Weser-Ems June 12 Th at Stonecrop Farm in Advance, North Carolina. His scores included 7.5 for Breed and sex type, 7 for Conformation, 7 for Correctness of gaits. His scores on his gaits were: Walk - 8, Trot - 7.5, Canter - 8.
Our 2006 filly, Sanabelle, out of Lunar Wind sired by Sir Donnerhall was also presented to the GOV. She received a premium foal award.The judges comments included, "this filly ranks among the top foals we have seen in Germany, if this filly was in Germany, she would be eligible to attend the Elite Foal Auction."The mare Lunar Wind was also presented to the GOV. She was used as an example of the type of mare needed in a successful breeding program.
